As a transplant from the Midwest to the mid-Atlantic region, this is a riot. And completely true.

this was pretty funny. Especially coming from a place where it has to be -50F before they cancel school

I grew up in MT where it was occasionally -50F. School was canceled twice in my memory - once when Mount St. Helens blew and once when it reached 80 below.
